Union Home Minister takes a stock of security arrangements in Maoist-affected areas and J&K
New Delhi, Nov. 15 -- In a view to take stock of the security arrangements in Jammu and Kashmir and the Maoists-affected areas across the country, that are being handled by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah on Friday held a meeting with senior CRPF personnel, including Director General R. R. Bhatnagar.
The meeting that lasted for about one-and-a-half hours took place at the paramilitary force's headquarters at the CGO Complex where the CRPF, through a powerpoint presentation, apprised him about its preparedness in Jammu and Kashmir and Maoist-affected areas.
This comes as the first meeting of Mr. Shah's with the CRPF officials at its headquarters after he took charge of the office on June 1.
