New Delhi, July 17 -- The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is set to operationalise three newly constructed Namo Bharat stations in Meerut - Shatabdi Nagar, Begumpul, and Modipuram - by the end of July. This development marks a significant milestone toward the full commissioning of the 82-kilometre Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor, India's first semi-high-speed regional rail service.

Currently, Namo Bharat trains are running on a 55-km stretch between New Ashok Nagar and Meerut South. With the addition of these three stations, passenger access to core areas of Meerut will improve significantly.
