New Delhi, Feb. 23 -- At the end of 2019, the European Commission and the European Parliament announced the advent of a groundbreaking revision of the Europe Union called "Conference on the Future of Europe". This was not to be a single one-day event but a series of dialogues between institutions and civil society lasting two years. The project sought to review the medium to long term future of the European Union and the necessary reforms to policies and institutions to sustain Europe's credibility. One year on, the "Conference" has not yet started but the validity of the European Union bloc, now minus the United Kingdom, is already in jeopardy.
