New Delhi, July 26 -- Turkey has proposed to secure the Kabul international airport following NATO's complete withdrawal from Afghanistan by September 2020. Though there is no formal signing of any agreement, yet, Turkish President on 9th July indicated an agreement with the US and Afghan government to send a Turkish Military contingent for the safety and security of the Afghan Capital's main connectivity hub. The presence is majorly defensive in nature limited to the presence of Turkish security inside the perimeters of the Hamid Karzai International Airport.
