New Delhi, Dec. 30 -- The Supreme Court has put on hold its earlier definition regarding the definition of Aravalli hills. "We deem it necessary that Committee recommendation and directions of this Court be kept in abeyance. Stay to remain in effect till constitution of the Committee", the Court stated. A bench of Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, Justice JK Maheshwari and Justice AG Masih made the observations. Thus, it puts on hold an earlier order issued by a supreme court that hill over 100 meter only will considered as Aravalli Hills. Hills under 100m will be used for mining, making buildings and for other works.
