New Delhi, Feb. 4 -- Delhi Minister Ashish Sood said that the proceedings in the Supreme Court of India have clearly established that private schools in Delhi cannot increase fees arbitrarily without taking parents into confidence.
He said the development reflects the firm resolve of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta to enforce transparency and accountability in the education sector. Sood stated that despite attempts by the Aam Aadmi Party and certain private stakeholders to delay the Delhi School Education (Transparency in Fixation and Regulation of Fees) Act, 2025 through legal challenges, the implementation process has now started.
