New Delhi, May 16 -- After the Supreme Court on May 8 had directed the special CBI court to conclude trial proceedings in the 1992 Babri Masjid demolition case by August 31, the court on Friday, May 15, decided to continue further trial proceedings in the matter concerned through video-conferencing.
To be completed by April 20, the trial, earlier, could not be done due to closure of courts in the wake of the lockdown imposed all across the nation to curb the spread of the novel Coronavirus. the proceedings were hampered due to the lockdown and thus, the decision has been taken up by the CBI Court.
