New Delhi, Jan. 23 -- The fifth meeting of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) was chaired by Delhi Cabinet Minister Pravesh Sahib Singh, during which a wide range of decisions were approved to strengthen civic infrastructure, improve public services, and enhance employee welfare in the NDMC area.

A major focus of the meeting was water supply and distribution reforms. The Council approved the construction of a new water supply control room at the Old R.K. Ashram Marg site, replacement of old CI pipelines with DI pipelines in the Pandara Road area, and the installation of smart water meters and misting systems.
