New Delhi, Dec. 26 -- The Sadbhavana Udyan on Ring Road has been renamed "Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sadbhavana Udyan" in honour of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the occasion of his 101st birth anniversary.

The renaming was carried out by Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena in the presence of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. The Lieutenant Governor announced that a bust/statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee will also be installed at the park in the near future.

Rekha Gupta said the park has been dedicated to Atal Ji's ideals, dignity, and spirit of national service, adding that it would serve as a space where young people can reflect, learn, and understand his life and thoughts.
