New Delhi, June 2 -- Marking the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta participated in the Yamuna Aarti held at Vasudev Ghat on May 31. The event was a spiritual tribute to both the legendary Maratha queen and the sacred river Yamuna, regarded as the lifeline of Delhi.

In her address, Gupta sought blessings from Maa Yamuna for the well-being of Delhi's citizens. Emphasising the cultural, environmental, and religious significance of the river, she reiterated her government's commitment to ensuring its uninterrupted flow and purity. "Preserving Yamuna's sanctity is our topmost priority," she affirmed.
