New Delhi, Aug. 29 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated the U-Special EV bus service from the Delhi University Sports Complex, reviving a service that had been discontinued for several years.

Recalling her own college memories, Gupta said that when she left the university in 1998, the U-Special symbolized friendship, joy, and campus life. Now, she noted, the service returns in a modern form-equipped with air-conditioning, FM radio, panic buttons, and other state-of-the-art facilities-to provide students with safe and comfortable transport.
