New Delhi, Aug. 7 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated the 29th edition of the Delhi Book Fair today at Bharat Mandapam. The event was marked by the gracious presence of Delhi Cabinet Minister Kapil Mishra.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, "Connecting with books is connecting with oneself." She emphasised that the book fair not only draws youth into the world of reading but also preserves India's cultural consciousness, intellectual traditions, and literary heritage.

Rekha Gupta reaffirmed the Delhi government's commitment to promoting such literary events, describing them as vital platforms for thought, understanding, and social connection.
