New Delhi, June 6 -- Chief Minister of Delhi, Rekha Gupta, inaugurated the 'Dhanuka Waiting Hall' at AIIMS, New Delhi, dedicating it to the general public. Emphasizing its significance, she described the facility as more than just infrastructure support - a "profound expression of humanity."
Gupta highlighted that the waiting hall will offer a safe, comfortable, and dignified space for the families of thousands of patients who travel from across India to AIIMS. "This initiative provides relief to attendants who were earlier forced to wait for long hours in extreme weather conditions - whether it be the scorching heat, biting cold, or monsoon rains - outside the hospital," she said.
