New Delhi, May 17 -- India's fight against terrorism has become a central element of its national defence doctrine, and the country is determined to root out hybrid and proxy warfare, said Defence Minister Rajnath Singh while addressing air warriors at Bhuj Air Force Station, Gujarat, on May 16, 2025. He asserted that the current ceasefire with Pakistan effectively places the country on probation, contingent on its behaviour, and warned that any provocation will invite the harshest response.
