New Delhi, May 8 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh declared that the Indian Army has exercised its sovereign "right to respond" in retaliation to the recent terror attack on Indian soil. Speaking on the government's carefully calibrated military response, Singh emphasised that India's action was deliberate, restrained, and aimed solely at dismantling terrorist camps and infrastructure.
"The action was taken with utmost precision and planning, limited to the destruction of terrorist camps and their infrastructure.
