New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Assam Bioethanol Plant and laid the foundation stone for a Polypropylene Unit at Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) in Golaghat, Assam, while also inaugurating and laying the foundation for development projects worth around Rs.6,500 crore in Darrang. The Prime Minister extended festive greetings to the people of Assam on the occasion of Sharodiya Durga Puja and Janmasthami, and paid tribute to the great spiritual figure Srimanta Sankardev.
