New Delhi, July 4 -- : Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Port of Spain for a landmark State Visit to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago from July 3-4, marking the first bilateral visit by an Indian Prime Minister since 1999. On arrival, PM Modi was received with full honours by Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, her cabinet colleagues, and senior dignitaries. A ceremonial Guard of Honour and traditional cultural performances were accorded as a mark of the strong cultural and diplomatic ties between the two nations.
