New Delhi, Jan. 6 -- In exercise of the powers conferred by the Constitution of India, the President of India, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, has approved the appointment of several advocates as Judges and an Additional Judge in different High Courts.

According to a press communique issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice, Advocates Ritesh Kumar and Praveen Kumar have been appointed as Judges of the Patna High Court.

Further, Advocate Jai Krishna Upadhyay has been appointed as a Judge of the Allahabad High Court, while Advocate Siddartha Sah has been appointed as an Additional Judge of the Uttarakhand High Court.
