New Delhi, Jan. 5 -- On January 3, Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh unveiled the of portraits of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Bharat Ratna Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya inside the Delhi Legislative Assembly Premises.

Also present were Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta, and senior journalist and Padma Bhushan awardee Ram Bahadur Rai.

The newly installed portraits are intended to reflect the enduring ideals that shaped the ideological foundations of modern India. While Vajpayee is remembered for his statesmanship and oratory, Malaviya is widely regarded as a symbol of learning, moral integrity, and national service.
