New Delhi, July 19 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for projects exceeding Rs.7,000 crore in Motihari, Bihar, covering sectors such as railways, roads, rural housing, fisheries, and information technology. Addressing the gathering, he called Champaran the land of inspiration and said it would now lead Bihar's transformation. Emphasizing the rise of eastern India, he compared Bihar's development prospects with cities like Mumbai and Pune and highlighted government efforts to bring parity in growth across regions.
