New Delhi, Nov. 4 -- Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi will be seen taking part in the East Asia and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) summits that are going to be held today in Bangkok.

RCEP is a comprehensive free trade agreement that is being negotiated between the 10 ASEAN Member States and ASEAN's free trade agreement partners, including, India, Japan, Korea, Australia, China and New Zealand. At the RCEP Summit, PM Mr. Narendra Modi will be steering India's negotiations.

"India remains committed to a comprehensive and balanced outcome from the ongoing RCEP negotiations..." said PM Mr. Modi, adding further, "addressing India's concerns over unsustainable trade deficits is important."
