New Delhi, Aug. 30 -- Prime Minister's visit to Japan resulted in a wide range of outcomes strengthening the India-Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership. Both sides adopted the India-Japan Joint Vision for the Next Decade, outlining cooperation in eight priority areas including economic partnership, security, technology, mobility, ecological sustainability, health, people-to-people ties and state-prefecture engagements.
A Joint Declaration on Security Cooperation was issued to evolve defence and security cooperation in response to contemporary challenges.
