New Delhi, Sept. 16 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development projects worth around Rs.40,000 crore in Purnea, Bihar. The projects cover railways, airports, power, irrigation, and housing, aimed at accelerating the development of Seemanchal and strengthening Bihar's growth trajectory.
Highlighting the inauguration of the Purnea Airport terminal, constructed in under five months, Modi noted that Purnea has now been placed on the country's aviation map. He flagged off multiple trains, inaugurated the Araria-Galgalia rail line, and laid the foundation stone for the Vikramshila-Kataria rail line.
