New Delhi, April 23 -- The Delhi High Court has rejected a plea by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal which requested to consult his doctor through video conferencing in Tihar jail.

Special Judge Kaveri Baweja of Rouse Avenue Courts said that the jail authorities shall ensure that all requisite medical treatment is provided to Kejriwal in Jail.

The Court said that if Kejriwal requires special consultation in jail, the Tihar jail authorities shall consult the medical board which will comprises of doctors of AIIMS. The Court also said that this medical board will decide about the administration of insulin to Kejriwal. The Court also said that medical board will prescribe a diet plan as well as an exercise plan for Arvind Kejriwal.
