New Delhi, Nov. 6 -- Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal met New Zealand Prime Minister Chris Luxon and Trade Minister Todd McClay in Auckland as both sides reaffirmed their commitment to accelerating the India-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Goyal said it was a "pleasure to meet Prime Minister @ChrisLuxonMP" and underlined that "India deeply values its growing partnership with New Zealand." He added that the ongoing FTA talks would "pave the way for expanding trade, investment, and innovation linkages," expressing confidence that both nations are "energised by a shared resolve to take this partnership to new heights."
