New Delhi, July 1 -- Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa Public Works Department Minister Pravesh Sahib Singh Verma and visited Nehru Park to initiate a pilot study aimed at reducing pollution.

Sirsa said that the initiative will involve collecting feedback from local joggers and walkers, and developing a consensus-based action plan to determine whether AQI can be effectively lowered in a designated area.

As part of the plan, advanced Clean Air machinery will be installed to target harmful pollutants like PM 2.5. The study will serve as a model to explore technological solutions for improving air quality in urban green spaces.
