New Delhi, April 10 -- Delhi Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma inspected Asia's largest single sewage treatment plant located at Okhla.

This state-of-the-art plant has just been completed with the cooperation of the Central Government and the sewage coming here is being purified as per the prescribed standards. This plant is treating 564 MLD sewage every day, making Yamuna clean, flowing and the real lifeline of the capital once again, Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma said,

"Our Government is taking concrete steps towards realising the vision of 'Developed India' and 'Clean and Environment-Sensitive Capital' of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi," Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma said.
