New Delhi, May 2 -- On the occasion of International Labour Day, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, along with Cabinet Minister Kapil Mishra, participated in a special event to honour the contributions of lakhs of workers who have made Delhi their home.

Addressing the gathering, CM Gupta affirmed her government's commitment to ensuring a life of dignity for labourers who have migrated from far-off villages to the capital. "It is our responsibility to care for them and secure their well-being," she said.

Marking the day with impactful announcements, the Chief Minister declared the opening of 500 childcare centres for the children of women labourers and the launch of 100 Atal Canteens to provide nutrition and care.
