New Delhi, Feb. 13 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, forming the government with National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has passed the floor test in the Bihar Legislative Assembly. The Nitish Kumar government won the trust vote with the support of 129 Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA).

All 78 BJP legislators voted. 43 JD(U) legislators voted, while one JD(U) legislator, Maheshwar Hajari, who is the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly and was acting as the presiding officer today, did not vote. Jitan Ram Manjhi's party HAM voted with four legislators along with an independent MLA. Three legislators from RJD switched to JD(U)'s camp: Chetan Anand, Neelam Devi, and Prahlad Yadav.
