New Delhi, Oct. 16 -- The Delhi Chief Minister's Office (CMO) has said in a statement that The Delhi Government has begun large-scale preparations for the upcoming Chhath Puja, the grand festival of Sun worship celebrated with great devotion by the Purvanchali community. The Chief Minister's Office announced that after years of anticipation, devotees will once again be able to celebrate Chhath on the banks of the sacred Yamuna with reverence and enthusiasm. Construction of Chhath Ghats is underway from Palla to Okhla, with the administration working on a war footing to ensure a clean, safe, and spiritually uplifting environment for worshippers. "This year, Chhath celebrations in Delhi will be both divine and grand," the statement said.
