New Delhi, June 6 -- In celebration of World Environment Day, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), under the leadership of Chairperson Keshav Chandra, IAS, organized a series of impactful green initiatives and cleanliness drives across the capital.

A special cleanliness drive was carried out on G Avenue Road, Chanakyapuri, focusing on deep cleaning of side channels, removal of dry leaves for composting, and thorough cleaning of roads and footpaths. Senior officers from the Health, Civil, and Horticulture Departments actively participated, aiming to foster civic responsibility and environmental consciousness among citizens.
