New Delhi, Oct. 17 -- Minister of State for External Affairs and Environment, Forest & Climate Change Kirti Vardhan Singh delivered India's National Statement at the 19th Mid-Term Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) held in Kampala, Uganda.
He noted that the meeting was taking place in a time of unprecedented geopolitical flux, marked by challenges such as climate change, debt sustainability, supply chain disruptions, the technological divide, trade and tariff barriers, and terrorism. These issues, he said, are compounded by a global governance architecture still rooted in the realities of 1945, making it inadequate to address contemporary concerns.
