New Delhi, Aug. 4 -- The recent visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the United Kingdom (UK) has signalled a new era in India-UK ties and ushered in a new era of strategic cooperation. PM Modi met UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer at Chequers Estate. This was the third time in the past year that the meeting of both Prime Ministers took place. This meeting was significant as it witnessed the signing of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA)between the Indian Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and Secretary of State for Business and Trade Jonathan Reynolds in the presence of both the Prime Ministers in the presence of both Prime Ministers.
