New Delhi, May 25 -- As domestic flights are back to the skies after 2 months of halt, from Monday, May 25, the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) on Sunday, May 24, decided to restart flights in a calibrated manner, under the UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Naagrik) Scheme, a scheme that aims to make flying affordable and also connect underserved and unserved airports across the country.

Taking it to the social media platform, Union Minister for Civil Aviation Hardeep Singh Puri tweeted, "A decision to restart flights under UDAN Scheme has been taken by MoCA, GoI.
