New Delhi, Jan. 12 -- The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has extended the validity of its Property Tax Settlement Scheme (SUNIYO) 2025-26, allowing residents to avail the benefits of the scheme until January 31, 2026.

Under the SUNIYO scheme, taxpayers are being offered full waiver of interest and penalty on property tax dues pertaining to periods prior to 2020-21, provided they deposit the principal tax amount for the current financial year 2025-26 and the previous five financial years (FY 2020-21 to 2024-25).
