New Delhi, Jan. 5 -- The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) carried out a special cleanliness drive in the Shahdara North Zone as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen urban cleanliness and public hygiene.

During the drive, sanitation teams undertook comprehensive cleaning of central verges and footpaths, carried out sanitation of bus stands and public toilets, ensured upkeep of commercial markets, and conducted desilting operations. The initiative aimed at improving civic amenities and maintaining cleaner public spaces for residents.

MCD officials said such focused cleanliness drives are being conducted regularly across zones to enhance sanitation standards and promote a healthier urban environment for citizens.
