New Delhi, Nov. 25 -- The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has stepped up its on-ground inspections to enhance sanitation, waste management, and public convenience across the city.
SMCD officials conducted a surprise inspection at the Fixed Compactor Transfer Station (FCTS) in Mayapuri (West Zone) to assess waste-handling efficiency, sanitation standards, and operational preparedness. The civic body said the exercise underlines its focus on stricter accountability and better-managed solid-waste systems to ensure a cleaner and healthier capital.
Earlier in the day, MCD teams in the Karol Bagh Zone reviewed Cleanliness Target Units (CTUs), checking timely sweeping and improved hygiene measures as part of early-morning monitoring.
