New Delhi, May 29 -- Soon after the Haryana government decided to seal the routes that go to Delhi from Gurugram, in the wake of the rising number of Coronavirus cases, a massive traffic jam blocked the road connecting Delhi and Gurgaon this morning, May 29.

"In the last one week, Faridabad reported 98 cases, Jhajjar reported six cases, Sonipat 27 and Gurugram 111 cases. Barring those categories for which relaxation has been granted by the high court and the Home Ministry, the inter-state border should be sealed," said Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij.

Hundreds of people began protesting on the roads, earlier this morning, May 29, after they were stopped from crossing the Delhi-Gurgaon border.
