New Delhi, Dec. 30 -- Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa held a review meeting at the Secretariat with officials of the Forest Department to assess the progress of two Miyawaki forests being developed in the national capital.
During the meeting, the minister took stock of the construction progress and issued necessary directions to concerned officials to accelerate the pace of work. He emphasised timely execution to ensure early environmental benefits from the projects.
Sirsa said that the Miyawaki forests will play a crucial role in increasing Delhi's green cover and combating pollution, contributing to a healthier and safer future for coming generations.
