New Delhi, Nov. 19 -- Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Delhi Minister for Environment and Forests, chaired a high-level review meeting at the Delhi Secretariat with senior officials of the Environment and Forest Department to assess the progress of the government's 'Green Action Plan.'
The review focused on identifying wastelands, including areas like Asola, where afforestation can be undertaken. Officials also briefed the minister on ongoing efforts to increase green cover, remove invasive species, and ensure better ecological balance across the city.
