New Delhi, Jan. 7 -- Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of consistently avoiding discussion in the Delhi Assembly, particularly on the issue of pollution control. In a statement shared on social media, Sirsa said the government is fully prepared to openly debate its policies and decisions related to controlling pollution on the floor of the House.
Sirsa alleged that AAP is reluctant to face a fact-based debate, as it would raise uncomfortable questions about the party's record during its 11 years in power. He claimed that AAP would be asked what concrete steps it had taken to prevent Delhi from turning into what he termed a "gas chamber" during its tenure.
