New Delhi, Oct. 18 -- 'Mangal Milan Diwali Celebration' was organized at the Delhi Legislative Assembly to mark the auspicious festival of lights.

The event was inaugurated by Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta, who lit the ceremonial lamp and extended heartfelt Diwali greetings to all. He described Diwali as a festival symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness, truth over falsehood, and good over evil, and urged people to spread harmony, love, and positivity in society.

The celebration was attended by Deputy Speaker Mohan Bisht, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, and several MLAs. Addressing the gathering, Sachdeva said that Diwali unites people across communities and brings a message of unity, joy, and renewed energy.
