New Delhi, Feb. 26 -- Delhi has made COVID-19 negative test reports obligatory for those coming from five states- Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Punjab. This move was taken due to increased cases of Coronavirus across the nation.

According to the notice issued, this norm will become effective from February 26. The said decision is additionally pointed toward checking the rising number of COVID cases in the capital.The officials in these states will be commended to validate COVID negative reports from tests that have been taken not preceding 72 hours prior to boarding the flight. The norms will apply to those coming to Delhi by flight, busses, and train. Nonetheless, those traveling via vehicle will be barred.
