New Delhi, Jan. 28 -- Apart from an international level Buddha Museum in Sanchi, the Madhya Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Kamal Nath has announced that a grand Sita temple will be constructed in the island nation, Sri Lanka.

The announcement by Kamal Nath comes at a meeting held between Public Relations Minister in the Madhya Pradesh Cabinet, P. C. Sharma and the delegation of Mahabodhi society, led by Banagla Uptisa.

State CM Kamal Nath has also asked for the constitution of a committee that will have representatives from Madhya Pradesh, Sri Lankan government and Mahabodhi society. The committee will be tasked to oversee the construction of the grand temple in a time-bound manner.
