New Delhi, Nov. 21 -- Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra held a detailed meeting with officials to review the preparations for the soon-to-be-launched Yamuna River Cruise Service.
Describing the initiative as a historic step that will redefine Delhi's identity, Mishra said the project marks a visionary leap in the direction of water transport. The cruise service, he noted, will offer the city a new tourism route, new opportunities, and a new identity centered around the Yamuna.
Officials briefed him on progress related to infrastructure, route planning, safety measures and operational readiness. The project is expected to boost tourism, create livelihood opportunities, and contribute to a more vibrant and river-connected Delhi.
