Indian President Ram Nath Kovind receives COVID-19 vaccine
New Delhi, March 4 -- The Indian President Ram Nath Kovind was administered the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on March 3 at an army hospital. The President urged all eligible citizens to get vaccinated.The official account of the President of India tweeted on March 3: 'President Ram Nath Kovind, accompanied by his daughter, was administered the COVID-19 vaccine at the Army R&R Hospital, Delhi, today. President thanked all doctors, nurses, health workers and administrators who are successfully implementing the largest vaccination drive in history and urged all eligible citizens to get vaccinated."
