New Delhi, Nov. 13 -- President Droupadi Murmu was warmly received by President Duma Gideon Boko of Botswana at the President's Office in Gaborone. The two leaders held wide-ranging discussions to enhance cooperation in key sectors including trade and investment, agriculture, renewable energy, health, education, skill development, defence, and digital technology.
In her press statement after delegation-level talks, President Murmu described the visit as a "historic milestone" - the first-ever Presidential visit from India to Botswana. The discussions also marked the upcoming 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2026.
