New Delhi, May 12 -- External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar held a telephonic conversation with Egypt's Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty. During the discussion, Dr. Jaishankar briefed his Egyptian counterpart on recent developments and underlined the importance of adopting a policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
Both leaders also discussed avenues to further enhance economic cooperation between India and Egypt, reflecting the growing strategic partnership between the two countries. Dr. Jaishankar expressed his anticipation of welcoming Foreign Minister Abdelatty to India in the near future to continue the dialogue and strengthen bilateral ties.
