New Delhi, Jan. 20 -- At the invitation of Narendra Modi, President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan paid an official visit to India on January 19. This marked his fifth visit to India in the last decade and his third official visit as President of the UAE, underscoring the growing strategic depth of bilateral ties.
During the visit, the two leaders reviewed the entire spectrum of India-UAE relations and expressed satisfaction over the steady strengthening of the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership over the past ten years. They noted that regular high-level exchanges have imparted momentum and strategic direction to bilateral cooperation.
