New Delhi, June 30 -- India has strongly rejected the Pakistan Army's allegation that New Delhi was responsible for the June 28 attack in Waziristan. In an official statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the Government of India dismissed the accusation as baseless and undeserving of serious consideration.

"We have seen an official statement by the Pakistan Army seeking to blame India for the attack in Waziristan on 28 June. We reject this statement with the contempt it deserves," the MEA said.
